Seems like winter is coming. Seems like winter is coming.
After seven years in the lands of eternal summer a After seven years in the lands of eternal summer and tropical monsoons, it's becoming apparent that I'm about to plow through ol'good four seasons again while being back in Europe. Low-key denial is in the fact that even though the temperature in the morning hovers around 7C now, my shoe rack still holds only one pair of flip-flops and worn off sneakers. Or that it's been already more than two months since I signed the apartment lease but still ponder if getting a sofa isn't too much of a commitment 😂 But after finally putting on a jacket, it is refreshing to switch jungles for pine forests or beach for Alpine mountain range. This one is from Austria, that's the house where I'll retire when I'm done with people and yes, my friends actually skinny dipped in that lake despite the fact it was about 5C. #wonderingmate
It’s a week 3 of lockdown with strict movement r It’s a week 3 of lockdown with strict movement restriction here in KL where I’m now. Silver lining of being stay put at home like a potato is the fact that I actually get to get more work done (I’m one of those lucky ones unaffected), read more than ever, almost finished fantastic Masterclass with Dan Brown which made me think about writing a story myself and - to the despair of my neighbors - almost nailed opening song from Game of Thrones on my keyboard. And when I went through my old photos with intention of making a little Lightroom preset pack, I found this photo from a few months back when I was wandering streets of Prague. I found interesting how the perception has changed. What would be just a guy on the balcony in the world of past, now echoes with feelings of isolation and loneliness in today’s world of social distancing. Stay strong and stay at home, my friends. And brace yourself for GOT theme cover coming soon. #wonderingmate #stayathome #socialdistancing
Foggy mornings in Prague. Hard to believe you can Foggy mornings in Prague. Hard to believe you can get such thick atmosphere practically in the city center. Love how in these early hours the only signs of life in the city are tribes of pigeons and swans.

One of the most beautiful streets in Prague that s One of the most beautiful streets in Prague that seasonally turns into a fairyland, when trees in the alley undress their leaves. Sadly, since this is a regular residential area, it’s almost impossible capture this view without cars.
Took this one earlier this week and was worried I’m late for the colorful party. Turned out not so late at all.

Also, signs of aging certainly is that it’s Friday night but here I’m, drinking tea and getting excited about editing photos :D
No regrets.
Next week I’m off to Asia, starting with Bali, so there’s always adventure ahead.

Days are getting gloomier, feet are getting colder Days are getting gloomier, feet are getting colder, the sense of wonder stays. If you want it to.

There’s still bunch of beauties I haven’t - for whatever reason - posted yet. Like for example this photo of cable cars making their way up to Petrin Hill in the Autumn morning sunshine I took two weeks ago.
Fun fact about these bad boys is that they are integrated part of Prague’s public transport. Meaning if you have your ticket for subway/tram already, you don’t have to buy any extra one for this mode of transport. And now, personal pro-tip for anyone wanting to visit this beautiful park.
Come before 10am, take a light walk all the way up and hitch the cable car only on your way back downhill - not only you get to enjoy fascinating scenery, tree alleys and various hidden corners of historical fort at the top you would miss from the cable car, but you’ll also avoid long line of lazy tourists at the very bottom. Even thought cable cars comes from both ends every 15mins between 9am to 7pm, the capacity per car is very limited - and so queues are common.
.
Enjoy and stay in wonder!
