Funny trivia – the very first time I encountered term “staycation” was only when I moved to South East Asia 7 years ago and as a regular answer that I got from my local buddies when I asked what are their plans for the weekend was – “I’m taking my girl for a staycation.”
At first I was I was going like “Stay…WHAT?”, then I was “But…WHY!”.
And then eventually after deciding that “staycation” must be an Asian thing, I came to the conclusion that “Actually why not!”.

And being one of the oldest hotels in Singapore, it comes to no surprise. Whole place breaths inside out with nostalgia. But even though the architecture is old, amenities and conditions of the place are excellent, just like its 5 Star service.
It’s a rather bit more formal kind of stay comparing to others, but if you are up to experience a real vintage high class, this might be the place.
